Are you an academic or creative who finds the lack of structure in summer to be a barrier to your work? Do you always find yourself regretting lost time once August arrives? Do you struggle to stick to routines?
SUMMER CIRCLE offers community, accountability, & structured support for accomplishing your creative goal.
Tuesdays are for group coaching: checking in about projects, working through challenges, setting goals, and co-working as time allows. Thursdays are for concentrated co-working. But this is not just a co-working group, you will be treated like my writing clients, just in a group! (There will also be time for 1:1 conferencing during the co-working hours.) Worksheets, exercises, and planning materials will be provided, tailored to your needs. This is not meant to be a casual drop-in, this is an eight-week intentional community that offers you the opportunity to show up for your work with routine, commitment, and loving devotion. <3
Examples of things you can work on and accomplish in this container: an article, an essay, a book proposal, a book chapter, a painting, a business plan, the creation of launch materials, a newsletter editorial calendar, a painting, a sculpture, refreshing your website, updating your bio and promotional materials, a screenplay, a zine.....
AND, we’ll be joined by these amazing guest teachers!
Cameron Steele, PhD, is a writer, teacher, and tarot reader based in the Blue Ridge mountains, where she teaches writing workshops to cancer patients and counsels clients drawing on her doctorate and divinatory training. She will guide us through a tarot reading to support your projects.
Gwen & Libby are gifted facilitators of liberation & love. They will guide a 2-hour practice of Commitments, an exploration of what we care about, what we’re creating/desiring toward, and the internal and energetic structures of moving in that direction with embodied presence and a felt sense of congruence. A little bit of Politicized Somatics, a little bit of energetic scaffolding, some breath, some togetherness, probably some poetry.
Binyamina Aisha is the founder of The Wild Mystery School and leads programs, trainings and retreats in the realms of birth, death, ecology, and spirit. Jungian Psychologist, midwife, deathworker, animist herbalist, artist and farmer - she brings 25 years of varied and deep experience to the immersions she creates. (Her offering will be undoubtedly transformative to your art and your spirit.)
